# Freezing a User

Freeze a user you provisioned. A partner pays for its active users. Freeze a user you no longer pay for, and unfreeze the user when you resume paying.

The freeze cascades to the user's monetary accounts and cards. The subscription and partner connection stay intact, so you can unfreeze the user later. You keep access to the frozen user.
